It goes into much deeper detail and includes a lot of information that is not relevant to elementary ed.Find a more helpful book than this. If you are looking to study for the Praxis tests 5001 (or any of the tests that are part of that sub test) DO NOT get this book, just google your test number and you can find much better items, or books than this. The videos in the book that have links are not useful at all because it's the same details that are listed in the book.Find flash cards or make your own flash cards and it may be a better tool for you. The Praxis books that you can buy have more details and more practices tests, than this book and those books can help better. In the science part of this book, it doesn't list much about the moons (which are on the tests), etc. The science part can be the hardest part of the test.The best way to learn is to make flash cards, watch videos on youtube, take the practice tests on the praxis website and study with people.... this book didn't help at all. It needed to bring down the information in a cleaner way to understand and needs more pictures and more cliffs notes in the book with more pictures/details on their videos.Do not use for math prep! Way too much information, more than needed! Do not use for math prep! I am really good at math, it’s always been my strongest subject and I’ve completed two semesters of Calculus in college with no problem. While this study guide provides a lot of math review, it is overkill! WAY TOO MUCH INFORMATION needed to study for the math portion of the praxis. It’s overwhelming and doesn’t focus your studying on the concepts really needed for the exam. And the practice test provided does not seem like a good representation of the actual math praxis test. Each problem is the hardest case scenario. So if you struggle with math, even in slightest, don’t use this study guide for that portion. You’ll waste a lot of time studying information not needed and end up frustrated.
